After the votes were tallied, I constructed a Spotify playlist with a distribution of genres that represented the final results. For example, there is one opera song on the list, as well as seven alternative songs.
I tried to pick songs from different artists, but I really like Owl City, so sue me if I picked two of their collaborations. I also tried to pick songs that sounded like they would flow well together in one cohesive body. I'll admit, my opera choice and some of my folk choices are a little out there, but any of the songs on this list are something I would enjoy listening to. Finally, I tried to choose songs produced recently, as well as songs that are a few decades old.
If you disagree with a choice you feel doesn't fit into the assigned genre, go ahead and comment below!
If you want something to listen to when you read Change and Cherish in the morning, this is the place to start.
