Throwback Thursday #47 - First Snow

Today's throwback comes from the post published on November 14 of last year. For context, click here to give it a read.

When I left the house this morning, it was 'snowing.' I put the word in quotes because I know the heavens can produce far more than the intermittent frozen specks I saw earlier today. The effect reminded me more of ashes produced by a small campfire than any proper winter weather.

Regardless, I would call this a first snow. According to the record kept by Change and Cherish Blog, it seems as though Utah's first snow last year was on November 14. It still amazes me I've been working on this thing since that far back, and I have no intention of slowing down any time soon. From snow to snow, we're still here.

I believe the original post marked the first time I wrote a post about a 'Modern-Day Parable.' I don't write very many of these, but they might be my favorite kind of post, even today.
